ReelsmithPrivate beta

Your photos,
cut into Reels.

Upload the photos and short clips you already have, write one caption per scene, and Reelsmith renders a vertical video in your brand colour with your name on the end card. Ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

Make your first video

Creates a free beta account. No card, nothing to install.

Illustrated example. Your video uses your own photos.

One photo per scene, one line per caption.

You don't need a shoot or an editor. Pick the food, the room and the people from your camera roll. Reelsmith frames each one for a phone screen, adds a slow push-in so stills don't sit flat, burns your caption on top, and closes on your name in your colour.

The finished file is a real video, MP4 or WebM depending on your browser, that you download and post yourself, with the captions also saved as a separate subtitle file.

1080×1920
Full-HD vertical video, the size Reels, TikTok and Shorts expect.
12 scenes
At most, 2 to 8 seconds each, plus a 2-second end card.
1 minute
Longest video, end card included.
.srt
Caption file to download alongside the video.

How it works

Four steps, done in your browser.

  1. Upload your media

Photos or short clips you own or have licensed: PNG, JPEG, WebP, MP4 or WebM, up to the file size shown in the app.

  2. Write the script

One caption per line, up to 120 characters. Each line becomes a scene, using your media in the order you picked it.

  3. Set your brand

Choose the Bold or Minimal style, your brand colour, the name for the end card, and how long each scene lasts.

  4. Render and download

Reelsmith renders a real MP4 or WebM video and saves it to your media library. Download it, grab the caption file, and post.

What you get, and what you don't yet

In every video

  • Your photos and clips, cropped to fill a 9:16 frame
  • Slow zoom on every scene so photos feel alive
  • Captions burned in, in the Bold or Minimal style
  • Your brand colour and an end card with your name
  • A 1080×1920 video (MP4 or WebM) saved to your media library
  • A subtitle (.srt) file of the same captions

Not available yet

  • Voice-over. There is no text-to-speech yet.
  • Music or sound. Videos have no sound (a silent audio track, or none in some browsers); add a sound in the app you post from.
  • AI-generated footage or images. Reelsmith only uses the media you upload.
  • Writing captions for you. You write each line yourself.
  • Posting for you. You download the video and post it yourself.

Who it's for

Restaurants and cafés

Turn this morning's dishes, the new menu or tonight's special into a post before service, without booking a shoot.

Agencies and social managers

Produce frequent, consistent videos for several clients, each with its own colour and end card, from the client's own approved media.

Questions

Do I need to film anything new?

No. Reelsmith works with the photos and short clips you already have. A mix of a few good photos and one or two clips works well.

Does it add music or a voice-over?

Not yet. Videos are silent (a silent audio track, or none in some browsers). Most people add a sound inside Instagram or TikTok when they post.

Does Reelsmith generate images or footage with AI?

No. Everything in the video comes from the media you upload. Upload only photos and clips you own or have permission to use.

How long can a video be?

Up to 12 scenes, each 2 to 8 seconds long, plus a 2-second end card, with a 60-second maximum in total.

Can I change a video after rendering?

Yes. Edit the captions, media, style or colour in the project and render again. Earlier videos stay in your media library until you delete them.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the private beta. Prices for Starter and Pro will be announced at launch, before anything is charged.
